BLIND GUT COMPANY 

Blind Gut Company is a contemporary circus group from Finland that enjoys experimenting and stretching the boundaries of circus art. Blind Gut’s work addresses complicated themes and serious issues by means of contemporary circus, imaginative visual expression and playful attitude. When creating performances the group often delves into a theme or form that is foreign to them – and thus offers the opportunity to freely experiment, make mistakes and sometimes discover something new.

The group creates touching and thought-provoking performances for audiences of all ages. Blind Gut’s repertoire includes both artistically ambitious contemporary circus performances aimed at adult audiences and joyous street circus performances for anyone and anywhere. Children’s performances have also become an important part of the repertoire, and the group has had the honor of playing the first circus performance for many babies, kindergarten children and schoolchildren.

The artistic core of the group consists of circus artists Inga Björn, Saana Peura and Tuomas Vuorinen. Over the years, around 40 artists from different fields have worked on the group's creations. Blind Gut Company is operated by association Sirkuskollektiivi Blind Gut.
